Marinela Mitria

Marinela Mitria was born in 1962 in Romania. After completing three years at the George Enescu Music Academy in Bucharest, she continued her musical education in Sweden where she graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm as a piano soloist in 1995. Professors like Viorica Zorzor, Esther Bodin-Karpe and Liisa Pohjola have marked her artistic evolution into the artist she is today.

Her stage performance includes recitals in Sweden, Stockholm, Umeå, Skellefteå, Karlskrona, in Finland, Soulahti, Seynayoki, Åbo and in Romania, Bucuresti and Galati, as well as performances as soloist with the Royal Academy of Music Chamber Orchestra in Stockholm, the Paul Constantinescu Philarmonic in Ploiesti, and the Banatul Philarmonic in Timisoara, Romania.
